Well, uh Ivan here hunts ghosts. Big sooprise. But technically he doesn't 'hunt' them, he just like chase them away with that gun of his. He hasn't figured out how to build a thing to trap ghosts yet. xD
He probably is the only ghost hunter known at that time. Only a few people experienced paranormal activities, which includes Ivan. Thus, making everyone (including Harry, though he never shows it) in the neighborhood think he's crazy. Despite that fact, he never once felt neglected due to his cheerful and naive personality. His gun is made out of a bunch of different types of gun parts that used to belong to his dad.
Harry is Ivan's roomate. 'nuff said.
